Event Celebration

The G2I welcomes the local Inverell community, event participants and their supporters to enjoy the Finish Line Festival post-race festivities.

Saturday 15 March, 2025

Community Activities

Location – Victoria Park, Inverell.

Festival Opening – Welcome (12.00pm)

Multicultural Food Festival (12.10pm)

Enjoy a lunch of tasty cultural cuisine from the food stalls while awaiting the race finish.

Community Bike Activities (12.10pm – 4.00pm)

Families are encouraged to bring their bikes down to Victoria Park and participate in the fun bike skill activities and challenging obstacle course!

 

Event Celebration Dinner

Location: Inverell RSM Club

Time: 6.00pm – 10.00pm

Each competitor will receive a complimentary dinner ticket at registration. Supporters, family and friends can purchase a dinner ticket HERE.

The event celebration dinner will feature:

  •  a buffet style dinner
  • drinks available for purchase
  • a recognition of the race winners
  • guest speakers
  • highlights footage of the event on the big screen
  • an opportunity to share race experiences with other riders and supporters.

Grafton to Inverell Recovery Ride

All event and community cyclists are invited to join the Inverell Cycle Club for a ride around Inverell’s best cycling routes (approximately 40km). Enjoy a post-ride coffee and breakfast at one of the local cafes then head over to watch the excitement of the Lake Inverell Circuit Racing.

Ride Meeting Point: Front of the Inverell Motel

Time: 7.00am

Post-ride breakfast/coffee location: TBC

Time: 8.00am

 

Lake Inverell Circuit Races

The PSL Men and Women will showcase the excitement of circuit racing on Sunday morning at the Lake Inverell purpose built cycling facility. Other competitive riders can enter the Open or the Masters 45 Plus Circuit Races and be part of the action!

Location: Lake Inverell Off-Road Recreation Circuit

Time:
8.00am – Lake Inverell Women’s PSL Circuit Race (30km)
8.50am – Lake Inverell Men’s PSL Circuit Race (30km)
9.35am – Lake Inverell Open Circuit Race (40 mins plus 2 laps) – Men and Women
10.20am – Lake Inverell Masters 45 plus Circuit Race (40 mins plus 2 laps) – Men and Women
